Abstract
Based on expert opinion, the Transverse Myelitis Consortium Working Group (TMCWG) proposed diagnostic criteria for idiopathic ATM.5 The clinical requirements include bilateral sensory, motor, or autonomic dysfunction referable to the spinal cord, with a clearly defined sensory level that progresses to the nadir over 4 to 21 days from onset.
