Abstract
Recently, Godyak and Sternberg published a Letter [Phys. Plasmas 9, 4427 (2002)] claiming that the collisionless sheath model found in textbooks is internally inconsistent. The arguments of this paper are based on a misinterpretation of the plasma sheath concept. The conclusions are wrong and must be firmly rejected. Keywords
