Abstract
Recently, ZIKV has been detected from NHPs found dead in the Atlantic forest in Northeast Brazil; The current scientific evidence of ZIKV ecology in South America is discussed; Key questions that need to be addressed to fill the gaps of knowledge in ZIKV ecology are raised.This publication has 9 references indexed in Scilit:
