Abstract
We report a rare case of inflammatory pseudotumor of the prostate revealed on suprapubic prostatectomy. A 70-year-old man presented with nocturia, urgency and difficulty in voiding. The histopathological examination of the suprapubic adenomectomy specimen reported fibromyxoid pseudosarcomatous tumor (inflammatory prostatic pseudotumor). It is important to take this benign lesion under consideration to avoid unnecessary aggressive radical complementary treatments. Keywords
