Abstract
While previous research has suggested that older clergy are less inclined to respond to work-related questionnaires, the present study among 158 clergy finds that this is the case only among those in multiparish benefices. This finding is discussed against the background of ministry burnout theory and the suggestion that older clergy find multi-parish benefices especially stressful.Keywords
