Low-frequency generalised solution for the shielding effectiveness of a multicoated system of coaxial cylindrical shells

Abstract
An analytical solution for the problem of electromagnetic field propagation and the development of eddy currents in systems of multilayer cylindrical shells of infinite length is given. The excitation is a current filament located either inside the inner cylindrical shell or outside the outer one. From the calculation of the magnetic flux density, results can be obtained for the shielding effectiveness of the system. Because the analysis is general, the method can be applied to a more complex system of excitations, anywhere in the system.
