Abstract
Evolution of 11,017 km FASTER cable is reported from 8QAM transponders at 4b/s/Hz SE in service to 6 b/s/Hz using offline PS-64QAM, resulting in the largest SE-distance product 66,102 b/s/Hz-km over live-traffic carrying cable assisted by a novel, low-complexity nonlinearity compensation technique based on an artificial neural network. Keywords
