The insignificance of metal–metal bonding in the antiferromagnetism of copper(II) carboxylate dimers

Abstract

Magnetic and structural studies on a pair of analogous copper(II) acetate and formate dimers suggest that metal-metal bonding is not important in explaining their antiferromagnetism.
