The Signs of the Nuclear Magnetic Moments of Li7, Rb85, Rb87 and Cs133

Abstract

The atomic beam method of nonadiabatic transitions has been applied to the determination of the signs of the nuclear magnetic moments of ${\mathrm{Li}}^7$, ${\mathrm{Rb}}^{85}$, ${\mathrm{Rb}}^{87}$ and ${\mathrm{Cs}}^{133}$. The experiments show that all of these signs are positive and therefore agree with results already known from h.f.s. determinations.
