Abstract
THE PREOPERATIVE diagnosis and staging of pancreatic masses is limited with standard radiographic techniques. Conventional computed tomography (CT) and transabdominal ultrasound do not reliably detect pancreatic tumors of less than 3 cm.1-4 Early detection is important as tumor size is an independent predictor of improved prognosis.5-8Keywords
