Temperature-Modulated Photoemission Spectra for Gold

Abstract
Temperature-modulated photoemission energy distribution curves, as well as modulated yields, have been obtained for gold at photon energies between 6 and 11 eV. Structure in the modulated spectra can be identified with the motion of particular one-electron energy bands upon heating, and agrees with the predictions of one-electron band theory as well as interpretations of temperature-modulated reflectance data.
