Abstract
A detailed analysis is presented of the most probable sources in our galaxy of gamma radiation with energy greater than 0.2 MeV. Predictions are made of the resulting fluxes and their angular distribution in the vicinity of the earth. The results of these calculation and their implications for future gamma-ray experiments and detectors are discussed.Keywords
