Training for the IT industry in the Context of Digitalization

Abstract
The informatization is a global trend in the development of the digital economy. It leads to significant changes in requirements for personnel and specialists. The education system provides a tool for training personnel: Federal State Educational Standards outline the basic requirements for future specialists. Unfortunately, the current standards do not always meet the challenges and trends of the digital economy. The research objective was to study the issue of IT training during the period of transition to a digital economy. A thorough analysis of available scientific literature made it possible to describe the theoretical aspects of digital economy, as well as the IT industry. The authors identified a number of categories of specialists that are necessary for the formation and development of the digital economy. A detailed analysis of statistical data revealed some global trends in informatization, as well as the availability of IT specialists in Russian and world economies. The authors also outline the main directions for further research. The results obtained can of interest to researchers involved in the development of the digital economy.Keywords
