Optimal control and stabilization for nonlinear systems

Abstract

The optimal control and stabilization of nonlinear systems of the form $x˙$ = A(x)x + B(x)u is considered and explicit expressions for the control are developed. Excellent results have been obtained when we apply the technique presented here to an anaytical nonlinear model of the F-8 fighter aircraft.
