Abstract
A number of surgical techniques have been described to treat rectovaginal fistulas. Recurrent or persistent fistulas after previous repair can be particularly difficult to treat. We report a novel technique used to successfully repair rectovaginal fistulas after failed mucosal advancement flap procedures using a transperineal-layered closure with an interposed graft of acellular cadaveric dermis (Alloderm®).Keywords
