Abstract
We disclose an organocatalyzed enantioselective decarboxylative ketone aldol reaction of β-ketoacids with trifluoromethyl ketones in the presence of biscinchona alkaloid (DHQD)2AQN, affording chiral tertiary alcohols in up to 98% yield and 90% ee.Keywords
