Abstract
This paper diseusses the plaee and ex te nt of the Antarctic Realm within a biogeographic system of the world. Within this realm, I propose four biogeographical provinces (Maudlandia, Marielandia, Insulantarctica and Neozealandia) and give brief justifications for this proposal.Keywords
