Abstract
Of 51 long-term female in-patients receiving psychotropic drugs, 62% were overweight or obese, and 73% were centrally obese to a degree which could be dangerous to their health. The patients also had waist: hip ratios which were significantly higher than expected for their age and obesity (P< 0.01).Keywords
