Abstract
Self-assembled monolayer of porphyrin-linked alkanethiol on gold surface was prepared and the structure was characterized on the basis of X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), fluorescence spectra, and cyclic voltammetry (CV). Monolayer with zinc porphyrin chromophore was found to be electroactive in organic solvent. Keywords
