Acute Renal Failure

Abstract
THE general topic of acute renal failure has continued to attract interest and stimulate investigation. This is, in part, a reflection of the many clinical entities that can result in an acute renal debacle and an incomplete understanding of their role in the production of the renal lesion. The primary purpose of this review is an assimilation of a divergent literature on acute renal failure, covering such fields as physiology, general medicine, pediatrics, surgery, obstetrics and military medicine.
