Evaluation of Salmonid Sperm Motility for Cryopreservation

Abstract

Basic methodology for evaluating motility of salmonid sperm is presented. Problems and pitfalls that are commonly encountered are identified, and suggestions are made for avoiding them. Sperm dilution in preparation for cryopreservation is discussed.
