Abstract
The thermal decomposition of hydromagnesite, 4MgCO3 - Mg(OH)2 -4H2O, was studied under two typical experimental conditions: the condition in which an exothermic phenomenon at ~ 520 °C was absent (PCO2 = 0.00 atm) and the one in which it was present (Pco2 = 0.50 atm).Keywords
