Abstract
Esophageal strictures from a variety of benign and malignant causes require dilation therapy when patients develop symptoms of dysphagia. Dilation can be accomplished using a variety of dilating devices and adjunctive techniques. The approach to management of esophageal strictures is reviewed with a focus on dilation technique and special considerations for various stricture types. Keywords
