Requests for periodical publications as recorded for scholars in residence at the National Humanities Center, Research Triangle Park, North Carolina, are tabulated, and the results compared with those of previous studies done in other situations. A list of most frequently requested journal titles is given. A comparison with citation data disc discloses some similarities.
