Measurement of Laminar Oscillatory Flow in the Inlet Length of a Circular Tube

Abstract
Velocity distributions are determined experimentally for a particular laminar oscillatory flow of a viscous incompressible fluid in the inlet region of a circular tube. Measurements are carried out using a new, constant temperature compensated hot-film anemometer. Results of the experiments agree well with the theory given by Atabek and Chang.
