Clozapine utilization and outcomes by race in a public mental health system: 1994-2000.

Abstract

This study aimed to assess racial differences in clozapine prescribing, dosing, symptom presentation and response, and hospitalization status. This study extends previous studies of clozapine by examining patient- and treatment-related factors that may help explain or eliminate reasons for differential prescribing.
