Conflict Communication in Contexts: A Social Ecological Perspective

Abstract
Conflict communication affects, and is affected by, many factors at multiple levels or contexts. We organized this handbook in four specific contexts: interpersonal, organizational, community, and intercultural/international. The four contexts represent the predominant fields in which scholars and practitioners research and apply conflict communication theories and principles. The authors of this handbook have done an outstanding job of reviewing and synthesizing relevant theories and research on their topics within their contexts. These chapters represent the state of the art on each of these topics and should be very inspiring and relevant for future conflict communication research and practice.
