Abstract
O Mini-Exame do Estado Mental (MEM) foi aplicado em 530 indivíduos, classificados segundo suas idades e escolaridades, para avaliarmos o desempenho dessa população de nosso meio. Constatou-se que, para essa amostra, a idade não interferiu nos escores alcançados.
