Sir, The Elephant , tho' an Animal so considerable for its Bigness and Strength, so remarkable for its extraordinary Endowments and stupendous Actions (if I may so call them,) that it has become the Subject of the most Curious Naturalists of all Ages, and been admir'd by all those who beheld it;
