SPONTANEOUS INOCULATION OF MELANOTIC SARCOMA FROM MOTHER TO FOETUS: REPORT OF A CASE

Abstract
An 8-mos.-old child had several minute subcutaneous melanotic nodules over the thorax and several large melanotic tumors in the liver. The child''s mother died of melanotic sarcoma with visceral and subcutaneous metastases. This is the first reported case of a spontaneous transfer of malignant neoplasm from mother to child.
