A Moore?s Law for Mobile Energy: Improving upon conventional batteries and energy sources for mobile devices

Abstract
Conventional batteries in mobile devices, such as smart mobile phones, have limited energy that does not meet the needs of many users. We believe that there is demand for an energy source that can supply more mobile power for a longer period of time between recharges from a fixed power source. There is considerable ongoing research to create higher-capacity energy sources for mobile devices, but to meet the anticipated needs of power and even casual smartphone users, especially for several days of use, considerable advancement in mobile power technology is needed.
