Abstract
This review examines tests of standing balance abilities in patients with traumatic brain injury. Patients may compensate for vestibular dysfunction by using other sensory systems. As a result, subtle deficits in balance abilities may not be detected by traditional tests. The purpose of this paper is to provide a compilation of standing balance tests and to provide the clinician with the latest technological advances that can be used to assess balance abilities.Keywords
