Abstract
Using both immunohistological study and photoaffinity labelling with radioactive azido-ATP, evidence is presented that the mitochondrial membranes of the brown adipose tissue of the human adult contain a 32 000-Mr uncoupling protein, which is probably similar to the uncoupling protein of BAT of rodents. This publication has 14 references indexed in Scilit:
