Abstract
A 2-day-old neonate with a spinal cord arteriovenous malformation developed severe paraparesis. The abrupt neurological deterioration was not associated with hemorrhage or aneurysmal dilatation. Ischemic damage of the spinal cord is suggested as the cause of the clinical manifestation. Keywords
