Abstract
A mild, practical procedure for oxidative dehydrogenation with catalytic amounts of a Cu salt, K2CO3, and tert-butylhydroperoxide (TBHP) as a terminal oxidant has been developed. This oxidation procedure is generally applicable to dihydropyrimidinones and most dihydropyrimidines. Keywords
