Abstract
A study is made of the properties of the decays of about 50 V 0-particles in a medium-sized cloud chamber equipped with either one or two lead plates but without a magnetic field. The decays are classified into those due to ϑ0- and to ∧0-particles using methods suggested by Podolanski and Armenteros (1954). The mean lives of the ϑ0- and ∧0-particles are found to be (1·2+0·8 -0·3) × 10-10 sec and (4·0+3·7 -1·2) × 10-10 sec respectively. Keywords
