Abstract
The polymers of n- and iso-butyraldehyde and n-valeraldehyde, which were made by subjecting the aldehydes to pressures of about 8 kb, have been examined by infrared spectroscopy. They are homologues of polyformaldehyde, having the formula HO(CHR•O)nH.Keywords
