Abstract
The interest in the digital image watermarking rises rapidly each year. This paper describes the influence of error correction codes on digital watermarking systems which work in the frequency domain. A new watermarking scheme is introduced. The scheme is based on the well-known watermarking scheme, which uses the discrete wavelet transform (DWT). The proposed method has been tested with Bose Chaudhuri and Hocquenheim code (BCH) with different parameters. All the results obtained and a comparison of the proposed and the basic well-known watermarking method are given inside this paper. Keywords
