Abstract
OBJECTIVE—Hyperglycemia occurs in most critically ill patients. Using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), we investigated whether intensive insulin therapy based on discontinuous glucose monitoring can achieve normoglycemia (80–110 mg/dl) in a medical intensive care unit (MICU).Keywords
