Abstract
MUCORMYCOSIS limited solely to the kidney and its vascular supply apparently has not been reported, nor has renal involvement been diagnosed except at autopsy. In the case reported below, nephrectomy and amphotericin B were utilized to affect a cure.Case ReportA 51-year-old electrician (J.M.H. 246109) entered the hospital for the 6th time, complaining of right-flank pain, dysuria, chills and fever of 5 days' and grossly bloody urine of 3 days' duration.
