Abstract
This review is primarily devoted to a discussion of solar-wind exposure effects revealed by the study of lunar samples returned to Earth by the Apollo programme. For comparison, a review of data concerning the flux, energy and composition of the solar wind as acquired by direct measurement during space missions, including Apollo, is given. Keywords
