Abstract
The transmission lines most frequently used in corrosion studies are discussed. The interpretation of impedance data for cylindrical pores, and irregularly-shaped noncylindrical pores, frequently used in studies of pitting corrosion is analyzed. A ladder network is used to model diffusion processes. © 2007, NACE International.Peer Reviewe
