Abstract
Use of renewable energy sources is an integral part of the concept developed for improving energy efficiency of buildings. This study is dedicated to the problem of solar power supply for the buildings under the conditions of high-density urban development. The article deals with an estimation method assigned to define impact of partial shadowing on the surfaces of photovoltaic modules with respect to an amount of electric power a solar power system generates. Keywords
