Abstract
This letter presents p-i-n diode based amplitude tilt active equalizer for frequency and temperature compensation of microwave circuits and systems. The proposed equalizer is capable to generate positive as well as negative slope as a function of operating frequency without change of insertion loss at the center frequency of operation by adjusting bias current of the p-i-n diodes. The equalizer is also suitable for temperature compensation in addition to the slope correction of the circuits and systems. Here design, and test results of the equalizer up to ±8 dB attenuation slope over 3-5 GHz frequency band is presented. Keywords
