Abstract
This article describes how Native American nurses facilitate and promote harmony and balance through connectedness. According to the Conceptual Framework of Nursing in the Native American Culture, connectedness is at the core of intentionality of Native American nurses. Connectedness occurs through the dynamics of an interdependent and interrelated relationship between the nurse and client. The worldview of Native Americans is illuminated and illustrated within the context of culturally congruent nursing interventions. Keywords
