Abstract
Despite postnatal clinical examination and advances in fetal diagnosis, up to 30% of babies with duct dependent congenital heart disease are discharged home undiagnosed. The use of routine oxygen saturation screening to improve detection seems logical, but results from previous, relatively small studies have been inconclusive. This huge, well designed prospective study screened 39,821 babies from a region of Sweden. Detection rates...Keywords
