Abstract
Rectovaginal fistulas are dreaded complications of Crohn's disease. Accurate assessment is essential for planning management. Treatment options range from observation to medical therapeutics to the need for surgical intervention. Ultimately, establishing reasonable expectations is mandatory when treatment algorithms are considered. In this article, we review the evaluation of these fistulas and the current options to consider in the treatment of Crohn's related rectovaginal fistula. Keywords
