Abstract
A case of a true rectal melanoma in a Negro patient is presented. The anatomic boundaries of the anal canal and true rectum are clarified, and the literature regarding true rectal melanomas is reviewed. Known cases of anal melanoma in Negro patients are reviewed.Keywords
