The Missouri Children's Picture Series: Utility of the Sleep Disturbance Scale with a Clinical Sample

Abstract
The validity of the MCPS sleep disturbance scale was assessed with a sample of 25 children referred for psychological evaluations. Differences between children with and without sleep problems were found on the sleep disturbance scale but not on the other MCPS scales. These findings support the validity of the MCPS sleep scale. Future research might profitably address the utility of the sleep scale as a treatment outcome measure.
