Abstract
Amides are the dominating products in some nitrilase catalyzed conversions of α-activated nitriles, but unexpectedly this hydrolytic reaction is also catalyzed by 1,4-dithio-DL-threitol (DTT), a standard antioxidizing enzyme stabilizer.Keywords
